Job description
We're asking you to have a ‘look-through’ approach to grasp all of the finesses of our balance sheet and risk profile to identify and explain the key developments for the Executive Board and Balance Sheet Management. As group balance sheet reporting specialist you’re responsible to build bridges between backward looking and forward looking development for all reporting regimes (IFRS, Economic, Solvency II, PRC GAAP and Tax), enabling effective steering on solvency and capital generation. Finance Value Reporting is responsible for several risk analyses and steering reports for all the insurance entities at Group level (life and non-life).

You will be responsible for explaining the movements of the balance sheet and risk profile to management, this includes the timely and correctly delivery of risk reports. Furthermore, you will consolidate and complete the results for Solvency, Economic, IFRS or PRC GAAP reporting. You will analyze results, define drivers and report on these in external (e.g. SFCR) and internal (e.g. ORSA and SII) reports. You are also the point of contact of the (actuarial) reporting chain and reporter to the DNB, shareholder, executive and supervisory board.

You have obtained a Masters’ degree in Econometric, Actuarial science or a related field supplemented with at least two years of relevant work experience. You have obtained thorough knowledge and experience of working with Solvency II. Moreover, you are an excellent communicator and have a professional proficiency in both Dutch and English, verbal and written. You have up-to-date knowledge of the rules and regulations and have an ability to see beyond them to their strategic and operational impact. You have exceptional analytical skills, are action-oriented, have a good sense of humour and are able to think conceptually.
