I am currently looking for an experienced assistant accountant, in this role you will act as a first point of contact for clients and the less experienced members of the team. You will bear the responsibility for the planning and completion of all stages within the process of the compilation of financial statements, safeguarding this will take place in full accordance with Dutch GAAP and other applicable laws and regulations. You will be part of DB&C which is a boutique accounting firm providing full service to the SME market companies and is part of the international Group. The accountancy team consists of 8 people of which 3 are qualified accountants and services a variety of clients in all market segments nationally and internationally.
You will have a large impact on coaching and educating less experienced staff and interns on client assignments as well as participating in external teams on local assurance assignments. Next to the compilation of financial statements you will work closely on preparing tax compliance related work, CIT, VAT together with the in-house tax advisors. You will be responsible for Managing large client portfolio and be the first point of contact, planning and managing process of compilation of the financial statements, guide and educate less experienced staff including performance management. Ensure best quality of output and safeguarding being compliant applicable law and regulations and interact with other areas of expertise such as payroll/HR, tax advise/compliance team.
You are someone who has great analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. You are someone who has excellent project management experience and great planning and control skills. You are someone who is an effective communicator and a team player at heart. You ideally:
- Good written and verbal command of Dutch and English.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience within the accountancy services industry
- Graduated post-master Accountancy
