Your new role
As Scientist Clinical Immunology, you will participate in ELISA or Virus neutralisation serological immuno-assays to deliver immunological data for clinical studies. You will also support the development of assays needed for clinical sample analysis. Your work will be carried out in a GCLP lab and you will be required to accurately document your work. You will report your data to a scientist, who will do the scientific review of the experiments. Finally, you will collaborate with team members to plan and follow up on experiments.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this position, you will hold a bachelor or MLO in a life science related field. 1 year of experience working with serological immuno-assays including ELISA or virus neutralisation assays is essential. Experience working according to GMP, GLP or GCLP guidelines is preferred. Previous working experience with systems such as LIMS and automated systems for example TECAN is highly desirable. As a person, you are a pro active worker who can work well both independently and as part of a team. Finally, you pay close attention to detail and have hands on approach to your work.

What you'll get in return
Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start with a contract for 12 months through Hays. Extension to stay within the department is anticipated. At this position, you will get a competitive salary and your travel expenses are covered. Visa sponsorship cannot be provided.
