Your new role
As Assistant Scientist DSO (Drug Substance Operations), you will be involved in all activities related to the production of cGMP batches including cell and virus culture, purification processes, formulation and fill and in-process testing. You will be responsible for writing and updating protocols, test methods and SOPs and completing documentation such as batch records and logbooks. In addition to this, you will identify challenges and propose solutions to overcome problems. Collection, analysis and summarizing of data will be required. You will participate in the development of experiments, implementation of new techniques and deviation investigation and follow up. Finally, you will act as SME and project lead.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor or Master in a scientific related field. You will have 4-6 years of experience working in a biopharmaceutical or biotechnology environment. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English is essential. An understanding of GMP working environment is beneficial. Finally, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, work well as part of a team and pays close attention to detail.

What you'll get in return
Hays Detachering | Your initial contract will be for the duration of one year which, may then be extended to a permanent contract. You will receive a competitive salary depending on your education and experience. You will also receive travel allowance and holiday pay.
