Commissioning & Qualification Engineer

Your new role
In your new role you will have a range of different responsibilities. You will also design and execute process validation studies for the large scale API processes. You will commission and Qualify various process and laboratory equipment. You will review and assess change control for API processes to determine impact on validated state. You will apply Lean Six Sigma and Lean methodologies with an understanding of regulatory and validation requirement. Another important aspect of this role is your participation in efficiency and streamlining projects including process improvement, technology transfer, new product introduction and other various projects. You will also prepare, review and approve technical documents, procedures, CAPAs, change control, deviations, metrics, etc.

What you'll need to succeed
For this role you will need a degree in either Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Experience in a pharmaceutical/ biotech or sterile manufacturing C&Q experience is a plus. You are familiar with laboratory process equipment and have a good understanding of the overall bioprocess. You will need to be able to generate, read and interpret various technical documents. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and you are eager to rapidly learn and apply problem solving skills to new situations. You will need to be self-motivated and to work both independently and as part of a team.
