Job description:

As a financial administration manager, you work closely with management and the team on all aspects of the finance, control and operational cycle. You look ahead and provide relevant reports including analisys and KPIs. In addition, you are constantly looking to the future, you have an affinity with IT and you use this to arrive at innovative and efficient solutions.

Other duties and responsibilities:
  • Managing, training, guiding and supporting (5) colleagues within the accounting department;
  • First contact with tax advisors and general accounting;
  • Analyzing and advising on business economic and business organizational processes and issues;
  • Maintain contact with the international holding company, customers and suppliers;
  • Taking care of periodic reports (monthly closing), analyses, KPIs & dashboards;
  • Periodically discussing results with management and looking together at improvements and the way in which operational, procedural and system-technical work is done;
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts;
  • Contribute to setting up a management information system;
  • Fulfill the role of “business partner” by collaborating with other disciplines and advising management;
  • Initiating and supervising IT improvement processes;
  • Participate in projects, also cross-departmental;
  • Conducting business economic analysis and strategic scenario analyses;
  • Checking the ledger accounts and payroll;
  • Management of insurance portfolio.

Job Requirements:

  • An HBO education in financial administration, accountancy or business economics;
  • Experience in project accounting is an advantage;
  • Experience of IFRS 16 knowledge is an advantage;
  • English in speech and writing; German is an advantage
  • Analytical, critical attitude and strong communication skills;
  • Holding up well in a busy, hectic period and starting on your own;
  • Customer and service-oriented attitude;
