Your new role
This position intends to bring forward Food Safety on the front line of your agenda. You will be on the forefront of implementation and organisation of a cross-functional HACCP team. You will be managing fully trained employees who will required timely assessment. Your responsibility will be to continuously develop and implement food safety strategy on site in order to define concise standards and programs throughout the process from raw materials to the finished product.
Your main tasks include annual revision of the HACCP Program to ensure they are compliant with FSSC22k and GB requirements alongside reviewing good manufacturing standards as well as operational pre-requisite programs. You will define food safety standards for the product and raw materials. You define food safety testing strategy and contaminants monitoring with periodic reviews. You will be expected to be in charge of pest management, relevant trend analyses, and suggestions of implementation of improvement plans. You will lead trainings on quality and food safety modules. You input hygiene and sanitation improvements as well as recommending product disposition in accordance to food safety related issues with FGs through a fact-based system.
What you'll need to succeed You need a MSc. in Food Safety Management, Food Sciences, or other relevant technical degree. You also need to be coming from a paediatric nutrition background and/or relevant dairy industry experience of 8+ years. An understanding of HACCP qualification is required as well as a preference for FSSC22k lead auditor or similar experiences. Leadership and team management experience is also needed for this position, specifically in developing food safety and HACCP teams. A great understanding of stakeholder management and risk management is also necessary. Additionally, knowledge of Chinese GMP is preferred.
