Your new role
We are currently seeking motivated laboratory assistants for the manufacturing and technology lab at our client Kite Pharma. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for lab management and characterisation of T-cell therapy processes and products. You will manage various lab activities including planning and preparing study materials, equipment qualification, validation and maintenance. You will write, review and edit technical documents and reports. In addition to this, you will support investigations, identify root cause for deviations and determine CAPA for manufacturing.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should hold a BSc in cell biology, immunology, biochemistry or a related field. To be successful in this role, it is necessary to have between 1 and 3 years of laboratory experience with a basic understanding of cell culture, ELISA and flow cytometry. The ability to follow lab procedures with attention to detail and carry out experiments is highly desirable. Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office suite and data analysis is also required. Finally the successful candidate has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and is comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

What you'll get in return
Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start with a contract for 12 months through Hays. Extension to stay within the department is anticipated. You will receive a competitive salary and travel expenses. Visa sponsorship cannot be provided.
