Your new role
The purpose of this exciting and challenging position includes advising terminal senior management and handling all legal affairs, claims management and insurance matters for the terminal. There will also be a fair deal of interesting project development work. The position acts as the terminal’s legal counsel and compliance officer and is expected to drive the implementation of APM Terminals’/Maersk’s Compliance Program in the organisation. The scope of the job covers all legal, claims, compliance and insurance matters for APM Terminals Maasvlakte II.
While the main stakeholder is terminal senior management and the position will locally form part of the finance leadership team, the position also forms part of a global legal organisation and reports to the Europe regional legal team. This provides an excellent base for learning and knowledge sharing in an expert community. The position is based at the terminal in the impressive Port of Rotterdam where you can see and experience many of the (tangible) matters you will be working on, while partly working from home can also be discussed. APM Terminals Maasvlakte II is one of the first fully automated container terminals and provides for a very dynamic, innovative and inspiring working environment.
