Your new role
We are looking for a Line Engineer to join Mentor Medical. In this role you will be involved with the design of comprehensive engineering activities to develop and implement effective, high quality processes throughout the division. You will participate in NPI processes and will support the introduction of new equipment. In addition, you will manage CAPAs, root cause investigations and troubleshoot activities. You will lead projects for continuous improvement while handling change controls independently. Finally, you will develop process documentation and training materials for new processes, materials, and equipment.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate holds a Bsc in Engineering with at least 4 years of work experience within the medical devices industry. Prior experience with Lean (Greenbelt), Six Sigma or process excellence methodologies are essential for the role. It is important to have affinity with CGMP guidelines and EHS & S requirements. In addition, it is required to have a good knowledge of automation of equipment and of software, including Excel, Windows and ERP. As a person, you can priotise well and can think out of the box. Moreover, you have a quality driven mindset and you can identify business goals and translate them into practical solutions. You lead by example and have a good resistance to stress. Verbal and written communication in both English and Dutch are needed.
