Payroll Coordinator

Your new role
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all payroll (domestic and shadow) and Workday related questions, you will ensure a smooth payroll process and focus on improving the usage of Workday. You will be the first point of contact for all payroll related queries (internally & externally). You will do the organisation of payroll planning and coordination with HR team and other departments (finance). You will prepare the monthly payroll in 7 different countries (will expand to 9 countries). You will prepare the monthly shadow payroll in different countries and you will support with the setup of payroll in new countries. You will align with external payroll partners to understand local policies and be responsible for monthly payroll reporting. You will be responsible for regular updates and communication towards employees regarding payroll and align closely with external payroll provider to optimise payroll processes. You will identify, analyse, and improve payroll processes within the organisation and participate in different HR projects. You will be the first point of contact for all Workday related queries. You will identify, analyse, and improve Workday processes. You will align closely with the internal Workday team for the implementation of improvements. You will coordinate with the internal Workday team in case of technical issues / updates.

What you need to succeed
  • 3+ years’ experience in payroll administration
  • Degree in HR management or related
  • Knowledge of Workday or any other HRIS
  • Working accurate with attention to detail
  • Strong organisational-, coordination- and time management skills
  • Effective working and proper prioritisation of activities in a dynamic work environment
  • Proactive and independent personality with a strong service orientation
  • International mindset
  • Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English skills
  • Confident use of MS Office applications, especially good knowledge of Excel is beneficial

Your new company
Our client is an international company in general contractor for high-tech construction projects (data centres and life sciences). They have grown from zero to around 200 FTE’s in Europe in the last three years and are currently looking for an independent HR professional with the focus on payroll (domestic and shadow) and HRIS systems (Workday, E-time, CMiC) to support their HR team in the Amsterdam office.
