In this role the candidate will partner with the leaders in executing people initiatives. The candidate must be able to understand business priorities and translate them into a People agenda that supports the business as it grows rapidly. The BP serves as a liaison between the business and the central teams to assess the human resources needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, payroll and compensation & benefits, career development, talent management. We are looking for junior Human Resources Professionals who have the ability to think our the box, anticipate needs, diagnose problems, identify and drive appropriate add valuable proposals with a digital mindset and collaborate well across a matrix to build and deliver results in a context of strong transformation and growth of staff.

  • Partner with the leaders in the global team, always aligned with People processes, to translate strategic objectives into actions
  • Implement global employment guidelines and integrate global People&Culture processes, ensuring compliance with each country and EU legislation
  • Act as a Business Partner, strategic solution provider and advisor for the leaders of the Transport Business Unit. Support Managers by providing valuable input and expertise to the team on Hiring processes (contracts, documentation), Employment laws, HR policies and processes, Compensations, Payroll, etc.
  • Collect and maintain day to day information to manage time sheet: clocking in and out, absences, sicknesses, attendances, leaves, work-related injuries
  • Manage employee relations, labor relations and disciplinary actions.
  • Partner with the leaders in the Transport BU to identify business needs aligned with organization plans and team growth (structure, costs) also leading the Talent Acquisition process: design JDs, understand current markets, conduct interviews, manage offer letters, etc.
  • Ensure the performance review process with high-quality discussion, and manage career and development path for key roles
  • Maintain a strong focus on employee relations, monitor employee engagement, and retention activities
  • Be responsible for key people processes maintenance: performance management review, salary review, talent review, etc., always reporting to the Global P&C Team

Your profile
Basic Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Law, Economics, Human Resources or related fields
  • At least 2/3 years of experience in a HR Generalist role with an international exposure
  • Fluent in English (written & oral)
  • Good knowledge of labor law and practices of The Netherlands
  • Knowledge of supply chain sector, with a focus on transportation
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-graduated course in Human Resources Management or related topics (i.e., Digital Transformation)
  • Knowledge of Dutch and English

Terms and conditions
Gross salary depending on experience, target around 4500 euro gross per month.
