Your new role
We are looking for a QC Microbiologist to join the QC Microbiology Team in the QC Operations Department of our client. In this role you will implement microbiological analysis methods for process control samples (IPC), process monitoring samples (IPS), shelf life studies, process validation and release of end products. As part of your tasks, you will be responsible for testing sterility and endotoxins, germ numbers identification and interpretation of microbiological data. In addition, you will check and conduct periodic maintenance and qualification on the lab equipment.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate holds a HBO or equivalent with minimum 2 years of work experience in a quality driven environment. You have extensive knowledge of microbiological analysis techniques, such as plate count, GBE and star test, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Plus, you have prior experience working under GMP/GLP guidelines. Knowledge of endotoxins and identification by PCR is considered a big plus. As a person, you are flexible, customer-oriented and enthusiastic. Perfect command of the Dutch language (spoken and written) is needed.

The drug portfolio includes clotting factors, immunoglobulins and albumin. They are now looking for a colleague to join their Quality Control Operations team for a period of 12 months.
