Your new role
We are actively searching for a highly motivated Technician to join Kite Pharma as a QC Microbiology Analyst in Amsterdam. You will work alongside the QC team in supporting their efforts in this new exciting area of cancer immunotherapy. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform microbiological assays, Plate Reading and possibility to perform Gram Stain, Endotoxin, Sterility, Microbial Identification, Growth Promotion, Bioburden
  • Data entry and trend data
  • Routine maintenance of lab equipment and lab spaces
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Possibility to perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms


What you'll need to succeed
MLO degree in Microbiology preferred or BSc with 1-3 years of Microbiology lab/Environmental Monitoring experience. MSc level candidates are overqualified for this position and will not be considered. Do you have experience in aseptic techniques and clean room operations? Previous knowledge of GMP, SOPs and quality control processes are required. You must also be comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based on priorities. Flexibility with your schedule is required and working overtime when needed. Dutch is not required for this position, as long as you have excellent verbal and written communication in English is sufficient.

What you'll get in return
Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start with a contract for 6 months through Hays. Extension is anticipated to stay in the company. At this position, you will get a competitive salary (€46,710) and your travel expenses are covered.
