Your new role
We are currently looking for a QC Service Lab Technician to join Kite Pharma to join their exciting journey in the fight against cancer. The QC Services department provides a range of services including Data Management, LIMS support, sample management, material management of labs and lab equipment life cycle. You will work in a very fast paced environment and need to ensure pro-activity to prevent stock-outs of materials in the QC lab. High quality of work to be performed with minimum deviations.

What you'll need to succeed
- Maintaining QC stock in the QC areas, using a KanBan system
- Assuring no expired materials are located in the QC areas,
- Ordering new stock internally and work closely with the Warehouse,
- Ordering essential lab utensils externally,
- Assist in routine maintenance/calibration and cleaning of lab equipment and lab areas,
- Review QC Logbooks in a timely manner
- Implement new QC systems
- Generate EMS alarm reports
- Update procedures
- Quality indicators (Deviations, changes and CAPA)
- Perform other duties as required
- Improvement of current procedures and workflows
The successful candidate will hold a MLO-4 in a life science related field with at least 2 years minimum working in a QC environment working according to GMP. Experience in a technical role in the pharma industry is a must. Good working knowledge of GMP, GDP and SOPs. You need to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with minimal direction. Strong organisational skills are required as well as being a team player and service orientated. Flexibility in your working hours is required, including weekend work and public holidays.

What you'll get in return
Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start with a contract for 12 months through Hays. Extension to stay within the department is anticipated. At this position, you will get a competitive salary (€39,330) and your travel expenses are covered. This position is offered in shifts so there will also be a competitive shift allowance offered on top of your gross salary.
