Your new role
As a Quality Engineer you will responsible for product reviews. You are in-charge of conducting your own product reviews and ensure that all review actions are followed and completed. The aim is to evaluate process functions to comply with nutrient specifications and declarations. Evaluations are performed based on data which includes stability and release test results. You will be setting up progress management reports and maintaining documentation systems. You will draw up and optimize guidelines, procedures, and working methods. You will also support processes in change control, audits, and supplier qualifications in order to carry out process evaluations and improvements. You will be expected to coach and train your fellow colleagues.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful Quality Engineer you have a B.Sc. relating to the food or pharmaceutical industries. You have 3+ years of experience in the food/pharmaceutical industry, ideally with a background in product development. You have experience with product review, interpreting analysis results, and product registration. You are capable to conduct data analysis with basic statistical knowledge relating to process capability and outlier assessments (Six Sigma Green Belt). You are proficient in common statistical tools and an expert in MS Excel. You have a basic understanding of EU and Chinese Food Law and Product Labelling. You are an excellent written and oral communicator. You are a flexible, analytical, ambitious and over-all, a solution oriented individual.
